Yuxuan Yang is a software engineer with a degree from Duke University. During his time as a student, he studied organ and harpsichord at Duke Chapel under Dr. Robert Parkins. His dual passion for technology and early keyboards began during his studies in Britain at the Centre for Early Music Performance and Research (CEMPR), where he honed his harpsichord skills under Andrew Kirkman and Yat-soon Yeo.

In 2024, Yuxuan’s passion led him to pursue an internship at Zuckermann Harpsichords, where he immersed himself in the intricacies of harpsichord actions and design. He actively bridges these fields, applying computational precision to instrument restoration while performing and advocating for historically informed musical practice.
