Historical Tuning Pins
Historical style tuning pins with a rectangular tip. They have holes drilled for your convenience when stringing and come in four diameters: 4.6mm, 4.2mm, 4mm, and 3.5mm. We recommend 11/64”, #22, #25, and #30 drill bits respectively. All diameters of pins measure 2” (50.8mm) in length.
The 4.6mm, 4.2mm, and 4mm types are used in most of our instruments. They fit our Historical Tuning Hammer (Standard).
The 3.5mm type is used on our King of Sweden clavichord. It fits our Historical Tuning Hammer (Small).
