Zuckermann “King of Sweden” Fretted Clavichord 2019

This pre-owned instrument was originally sold as a kit and subsequently assembled and finished by the customer. The instrument is beautifully crafted, with an impressive level of workmanship and attention to detail that rivals the work of professional kit builders.

The instrument has been thoroughly inspected and evaluated at our Stonington workshop. We were particularly impressed by the quality of its construction and finishing, as well as its responsive touch and enjoyable playability. We consider it an excellent advanced-level instrument, well suited for teaching, practice, chamber music, and informal performances.
