Posthumous William Hyman / D. Jacques Way French Double (1977) - $ 25,000

This pre-owned French Double harpsichord, designed by William Hyman, was originally built in 1977. Although Hyman passed away in 1974, his unfinished commissions were completed and delivered by David Jacques Way.

The instrument later underwent re-voicing and regulation at Harpsichord Clearing House by John Bennett, who was part of the original team that completed the instrument at the Stonington shop in 1977.

The harpsichord is currently in good, honest condition and is suitable for performance.
